My name is Marcia Rivers and I am the Owner of Little Rivers Infant Aquatics specializing in aquatic survival lessons for children 6 months to 3 years old. As a Florida-born and raised girl, being in and around the water has always been a natural part of my life. Over the years, I’ve worked as a lifeguard, a pool technician, and in various teaching roles with young children. My journey in childhood development began in 1994 and has continued through ongoing education, while my professional pool experience started in 2001. I am CPR/AED and First Aid certified, as well as a Certified Pool Operator (CPO). When I discovered the Infant Aquatic Survival Swimming program, something just clicked—I knew I had found my true calling. Teaching children this life-saving skill gives me immense joy and fulfillment. Even more, I love watching their confidence grow as they learn, try new things, and succeed in the water at such a young age. Hearing parents say their child loves coming to swim school makes the long hours in the pool fly by. For me, there’s nothing more rewarding than helping children build skills, confidence, and independence in the water. Watching their growth unfold is like witnessing magic—only better.
We are dedicated to providing the safest and most comprehensive baby swimming lessons possible. We are committed to teaching your child the survival swimming skills needed to enjoy the water safely. We are passionate about the water and the children who swim in it. We are dedicated to saving lives, one child at a time. We form special relationships with both our students and their parents. Watching your child discover the joy of swimming is truly the most rewarding experience for us all.
We owe a tremendous amount of credit to Judy Heumann and the whole Infant Aquatics team for providing the best swim-float-swim program in the country, and for allowing us to share the program with our children. We are proud to be a part of this program and to be able to provide our children with the best possible learning experience.
